Role: Lead Digital Designer

As project manager and brand champion for agency-wide website projects, I managed the redesign of the DNR website to modernize the look and feel, transition to a new Drupal content management system, and make the site responsive and user. Reduced the number of page templates by 50%, increased accessibility through improved typography, a simpler layout, and standardized navigation. As a team, we rewrote content on more than 700 pages using plain language techniques. 

Brought the website into compliance with DNR logo standards; managed launch of new Minnesota branding at DNR. Wrote communications plan and kept staff on task. The launch received positive reviews from internal and external customers; feedback highlighted an enjoyable web experience and ease of navigating the site.
